          Animal Fabric Collage from a photo

          This is a fabric collage designed from a photo I took of my grand-puppy Peeka. The size is: 20" x 28" on a batik fabric background.  It is made from hundreds of pieces of fabric I cut and put into place, then thread painted it to add realism. 

          It is very important to start with a clear photo of the animal in good lighting to show the eyes, nose and mouth clearly. It is up to you if you want to tweak the photo, by rotating it or putting it into a photo app to alter the appearance, as I did.
